In 1993 the Lord showed Apostle Michael Scantlebury a vision of networks connecting with networks rising in the earth and as these networks became united in vision and purpose, doctrine and life came forth, and began to flow into their local assemblies.

In 2000 he had a vision from the Lord about the setting up of such a network. The acronym revealed at that time to him for the network was KIN, meaning Kingdom-Impact International Network. This acronym stands for relationship and family and being of one spirit.

As such, Kingdom-Impact International Network (KIN) is designed to be a relational based association of individual churches, ministries and ministers based on committed personal and ministry relationships joined together by a common general vision, with such relationships being mutual, voluntary and not legislated.
